Baylee's Arrival in Peru

DAY 1!!!

Hola mi familia y amigos!!

 

I made it! We arrived in Lima around midnight last night and I finally got to bed around 3:45!! We`ve dived in head first, so i don}t have much time! only five minutes! today we got our nametags! it}s for real!! my companion is Hermana Sandison and she is from Twin Falls, Idaho. She is wonderful! she is a convert and she}s so outgoing and has a super strong testimony! I am not really sure how to explain all the emotions i feel right now! I}m happy to be here, nervous, intimidated, excited, and so many other feelings!

well, my time is almost up! Mom, Dad, i}m safe! don}t worry!!

I love you all and I will write more next week!!

Brielle - She's Back!!

Hermana Brielle Buchanan was finally able to return to the Dominican Republic Santiago Mission!  She flew out from the Salt Lake Airport on July 14th at 2:19pm and finally made it to the DR about 12 hours later.  With the time difference being 2 hours ahead, she made it about 4:00am Wednesday morning!  She sent me a quick email to let me know she made it and Hermano Grange, who I assume picked her up, sent a picture! See below
So excited for her!  I know she will be great!

Hey mom!! I made it just fine. Took me a while to find my big bag but I found it. It is almost 4 in the morning here and I will have to get up real soon. I am going to be in Villa Olga as a sister leader supposedly.. What???? Let's do this! Love you bunches.
